Malaysia Sea Freight local shipping import/export charges + clearance


SEA FREIGHT local Import / Export charges + Clearance & Handling. 

Remarks : Handling charges can be varies by vendors as well as different port of entries. ( charges below is of average ) 

Export

Carrier average charges 
1) Bill of lading fees ( export ) : RM175/set 
2) EDI fees : RM30/set
3) THC
i) RM40/CBM ( LCL) 
ii)RM405/20ft and RM606/40ft /HC ( GP containers / general cargoes) 
iii)RM570/20ft and RM846/40ft /HC ( Reefer container ) 
iv)RM460/20ft and RM610/40ft ( DG class 3 ) , RM475/20ft and RM711/40ft/hc (DG class 2) , RM520/20ft and RM781/40ft/hc ( DG class 1) 
4) Express Release fees (For Bill of Lading if needed ) : RM175/set

Average Local export clearance charges (subject to GST6%)
1) Forwarding fees : RM100/container
2) Custom documentation : RM50/set
3) Custom examination : RM100/container 
4) SMK ( EDI ) : RM30/set
5) Container Haulage / Transport : As per Haulage association tariff  or Transport charge per destination ( see others post on this blog)
 7) If fumigation needed ( all wooden material need fumigation ) At range : RM650/20ft & RM75040ft 

Do not include other charges such as , labour charges if needed , custom cess ( such as for rubber goods) , Extra Port movement charges , SSR and etc ( should there is delay in port entries or  custom clearance and etc )  

Other special permits follow up or application such as certificate of origin and etc , as per forwarding agent service fees which may range from RM100 to RM500 or more.

4) Delivery Order collection fees : RM5/set
5) Agency Fees : RM180/set
6) Port charges LCL :RM14.50/CBM

Average Local Import clearance charges (Subject to GST6%)

2) Custom documentation : RM50/set
3) Custom examination : RM100/container 
4) SMK ( EDI ) : RM30/set
5) Container Haulage / Transport : As per Haulage association tariff  or Transport charge per destination ( See other post on this blog)
7) EFT (Electronic Fund transfer for duty payment ) RM25/transaction.

Do not include other charges such as , labour charges if needed , LKIM fees ( For fisheries items and etc) , Extra Port movement charges , SSR and etc ( should there is delay in port entries or  custom clearance and etc )  
Do not include Import Duty and Sales Tax.
